Which statement best describes the point of view Jean Fritz uses in Homesick?
Andrew [12]

Answer:

Fritz uses first-person point of view to describe the thoughts and perspectives of the narrator.

Explanation:

Jean Fritz in the book Homesick uses the first person narrative to put the readers in the shoes of the major character in the book so they could better understand his perspective, feel his emotions, and view the world from the same lenses.

The use of the pronoun "I" and "Me" by the author was to enable the first person narrative.

For example,

I entered the room and everywhere was dark

She was looking directly at me.

This use of personal pronouns, object pronouns, possessive pronouns, etc were used extensively in the book to enable the readers experience the events from the first person narrative of the major character.

do you think Dr. sadao is not patriotic enough as he risk his own life to save an american soldier?Give reason
Ghella [55]

Answer:

As a doctor, Sadao knew that the value of human life. He risked his own life by saving the American soldiers, even if he knew that he could go to prison for hiding a prisoner of war. He cleaned the Americans wounds, fed them, and nurse him. When the American was feeling better, he gave him provisions, such as food and a boat, and helped him escape from Japan. As a Japanese citizen, he fulfilled his duty by telling the General about the American. Even though the General forgot to send his assassins, Sadao could not be blamed for the American escape. Thus we can say that Sadao carried out his responsibilities, as a doctor, and as a Japanese citizen.
