6xW+7.50=65
To solve 65-7.5=57.5
57.5/6=9.583
Round up to 10
So W=10

3241004551 [841]
Let x be the number of days and y represent miles driven.

Since it costs 25 per day, you multiply 25 by x.
25x

10 cents (otherwise known as .1 dollars) per mile, multiply .1 times y. Now add the two.
.1y

25x+.1y

The answer is <span>a.) 25x + 0.1y</span>.

Suppose point j is the midpoint of segment lm where j(5, -1) and m(0, 6). what are the coordinates of end point l?
zalisa [80]

If the midpoint of segment lm where j(5, -1) and m(0, 6), then the coordinates of end point l is (10,-8)..

Midpoint:

Midpoint of a line segment is the point that is halfway between the endpoints of the line segment.

The formula for the midpoint is,

(x_m,y_m)=(\frac{x_1+x_2}{2}, \frac{y_1+y_2}{2})

where,

(x_m,y_m) = coordinates of the midpoint

(x₁, y₁)   = coordinates of the first point

(x₂, y₂) = coordinates of the second point

Given,

Midpoint = j = (5,-1)

Second point =  m = (0,6)

Now, we have to find the first midpoint l.

Let (x,y) be the coordinates of l.

Then apply the values on the formula,

Then we get,

(5,-1)=(\frac{x+0}{2},\frac{y+6}{2})

Compare the values in order to find the coordinates,

=> 5 = (x + 0) / 2

=> 5 x 2 = x + 0

=> 10 = x

Similarly,

=> -1 = (y + 6) / 2

=> -1 x 2 = y + 6

=> -2 = y + 6

=> -2 - 6 = y

=> y = -8

Therefore, the coordinates of l is (10,-8).

Kruka [31]

We know how many miles he drove and the speed that he drove. We do not know how long i took him to drive that distance.

To find the time it took, divide the distance by his speed:

325 miles / 65mph = 5 hours.
