7 0

Answer: 9 (2 mark question) and 18 (5 marks questions)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: Total mark = 108

Let the 2 marks questions be x

Therefore 5 mark question = 2x

ATQ

⇒5(2x)+2(x) = 108

⇒10x+2x =108

⇒12x = 108

⇒x = 108/12

⇒x = 9

Total two mark questions are 9 and 5 mark questions are 18.

Enter the value of p so the expression 5/6-1/3n is equivalent to p(5-2n)?
inna [77]
P needs to be something that is multiplied through 5-2n to equal 5/6-1/3n.  Since you see that there is a 5 of somesort in both equations an easy place to start is simply making p=1/6.  Once you do that then 5*1/6=5/6 so the first part is okay. Then 2n*1/6=2n/6 which is able to be reduced to n/3.
Based on this it is clear that p should equal 1/6.

Two similar cylinders have radii of 15 inches and 6 inches. What is the ratio of the surface area of the small cylinder to the s
Levart [38]

Answer:

4:25

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that,

r₁ = 15 inches, r₂ = 6 inches

The area of the cylinder is given by :

A=2\pi rh+2\pi r^2

The ratio of surface areas of two cylinders,

\dfrac{S_2}{S_1}=\dfrac{2\pi r_2h_2+2\pi r_2^2}{2\pi r_1h_1+2\pi r_1^2}\\\\\dfrac{S_2}{S_1}=(\dfrac{r_2}{r_1})^2\\\\=\dfrac{6}{15}^2\\\\=\dfrac{4}{25}

Hence, the required ratio is 4:25.

A horse ran 800 m and 40 seconds 1200 meters in 60 seconds and 480 m in 24 seconds is a proportional relationship if so what is
SVETLANKA909090 [29]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Speed = distance travelled/time

A horse ran 800 m in 40 seconds. This means that the speed is

800/40 = 20 m/s

The horse ran 1200 m in 60 seconds. This means that the speed is

1200/60 = 20 m/s

The horse ran 1200 m in 60 seconds. This means that the speed is

480/24 = 20 m/s

Since the horse's rate or speed is the same at each scenario, it means that the relationship between the distance covered by the horse and the time taken is proportional.

Let k represent the constant of proportionality. The constant of proportionality is 20. It represents speed of the horse.

Let d represent the distance in meters.

Let t represent the time in seconds.

Therefore

d = 20t

How can i solve it formula y= mx + b
Serjik [45]

Answer:

y = 4/3x - 4

Step-by-step explanation:

you are given b

so y = mx -4

you can look at the graph and see the slope from there. like the y-intercept and the x-intercept

(0,-4) and (3,0)

slope formula is y2-y1/x2-x1

and so you do -4-0/0-3

-4/-3.

so your slope formula would be

y = 4/3x - 4
