Replace x and y’all with the point and solve the equations

1. 2(0.5)+ 4(-6.75) = 1 + -27 = -26

This is true so is an answer.

2. Y = 0.5-7.5 = -7, -7 is not -6.75 so this is not true.

3. 2(-6.75) = 0.5 + 13

13.5 = 13.5

This is true so is also an answer.

4. -6.75 = 0.5(0.5) -7

-6.75 = 0.25-7

This is true so also an answer.

Answer:

Equation 1 and 4

Step-by-step explanation:

Point = (x,y) = (0.5,-6.75)

Hence,

x = 0.5 , y = -6.75

Equation 1:

2(0.5) + 4(-6.75) = -26

1 - 27 = -26

-26 = -26

This equation is true for the given point.

Equation 2:

-6.75 = 0.5 - 7.5

-6.75 ≠ -7

The equation is not true for the given point.

Equation 3:

2 (-6.75) = 0.5 + 13

-13.5 ≠ 13.5

The equation is not true for the given point.

Equation 4:

-6.75 = 0.5(0.5) - 7

-6.75 = 0.25 - 7

-6.75 = -6.75

This equation is true for the given point.

\rule[225]{225}{2}

Hope this helped!

Which movie had a greater range of ages of the audience? (Hint: The range is the difference between the max and min values)
dexar [7]

Answer: Movie B

Range = max - min

Visually the min and max are the leftmost and right most points on the whiskers. This is assuming we don't have outliers in either direction. The range represents the total width of the box and whisker plot. For movie B, it is wider, so therefore it has a larger range of ages.

We could compute the ranges numerically and compare to see which is bigger, or we could align one endpoint (say the right endpoints) to see that movie B has a wider range.

krek1111 [17]

Answer:

A = P (1 + i)^n      A is the final amount

                            P is the initial amount

                            i = interest / period

                            n = number of periods

A = 315 * (1 + .015)^1.5 = 322.11

Step-by-step explanation:

1*10+32(2+4+6)+76+2^3

First parenthesis

1*10+32(12)+76+2^3

Next exponents

1*10+32(12)+76+8

Next multiplication
