Why is the sky blue
Tresset [83]

Answer: <em>Blue light is scattered in all directions by the tiny molecules of air in Earth's atmosphere. Blue is scattered more than other colors because it travels as shorter, smaller waves. This is why we see a blue sky most of the time. Closer to the horizon, the sky fades to a lighter blue or white. </em>

Based on the graph above, how well will the enzyme perform as a catalyst when placed in a pH 7 solution, such as water?
mrs_skeptik [129]
The correct answer is "<span>It will perform less than optimally unless the pH was increased."

This is because the curve on the graph shows pH versus reaction rate. If we follow the x-axis (the bottom one) to a pH of 7, it is at an extremely low reaction rate compared to other points of the graph. If we continue along, we see that the reaction rate increases as the pH increases. Therefore, the enzyme will perform less than optimally unless the pH is increased.

Hope this helps, and hope I'm the brainiest! :)</span>
