The Plaintiff shipped the cards to the Defendant, but the Defendant has refused to pay. Required:
Can a court in Iowa exercise jurisdiction over the Defendant?
This is a hard question, as the buisness is in iowa but I would say No. The actions did not take place in Iowa nor is the defendant a resident of the state. A New Jeresy Court would have jursidiction more likely.
The clause says that the accused shall be entitled to an "impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law".
