I have a series of 2 questions.
Margarita [4]
1)
I:y=3x-4
II:9x-3y=14

substitute y into II:
9x-3*(3x-4)=14
9x-9x+12=14
12=14

this is obviously not equal so there is no solution, the lines are parallel

2)
I:y=4x+6
II:5x-y=6

substitute y into II:
5x-(4x+6)=6
5x-4x-6=6
x=12
substiute x into II:
5*12-y=6
-y=6-60
-y=-54
y=54

the solution is (12,54)

You'll use the chart to start your equation. There are 2000 grams to a kilogram. One batch is 1425grams. To get 2 kilograms she needs 2000 grams. So 2000-1425= your answer. For question 2, there are 1000 ml in 1 Liter. Use this information to see which will hold more liquid, 2 bottles or 8 cans.

A line has a slope of 2/3 and a y-intercept of −5. Which equations represent the line? Choose all answers that are correct. (MUL
marin [14]
A.         -2x + 3y = -15
    -2x + 2x + 3y = 2x - 15
                     3y = 2x - 15
                      3          3
                       y = ²/₃ - 5
A is correct.

B. y = ²/₃ - 5
B is also correct.

C. 6y = 4x - 30
     6           6
       y = ²/₃x - 5
C is also correct.

D. y + 3 = ²/₃(x - 3)
     y + 3 = ²/₃(x) - ²/₃(3)
     y + 3 = ²/₃x - 2
         - 3          - 3
           y = ²/₃x - 5
D is also correct.

The answer to the problem is A, B, C, and D.
