Find a number that is between 7/11 and /0.75
gayaneshka [121]
<span>We can multiply the numerator and the denominator of 7/11 by 3, 4 and 9: 7/11 = 21/33 = 28/44 = 63/99. Than we can see that: 25/44 < 21/33 or 25/44 < 7/11 ( C is not correct ). Also: 77/99=0.777...and 76/99=0.7676... Therefore: 0.75 < 77/99 , 0.75 < 76/99. And since: 23/33 = 0.6969...: 7/11 < 23/33 < 0.75. Answer: D ) 23/33 </span>

Simplify this problem please
Nookie1986 [14]
First work out the parenthesis:

9x⁴y⁴ / 3y²

Then get rid of the denominator using 9/3=3 and y⁴/y² = y²

3x⁴y² is the simplest form.

<u>Algebra I</u>

  • Coordinates (x, y)

<u>Algebra II</u>

  • Distance Formula: \displaystyle d = \sqrt{(x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_1)^2}

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Step 1: Define</u>

Point A(2, 125)

Point B(98, 15)

<u>Step 2: Identify</u>

A(2, 125) → x₁ = 2, y₁ = 125

B(98, 15) → x₂ = 98, y₂ = 15

<u>Step 3: Find distance </u><em><u>d</u></em>

  1. Substitute in coordinates [Distance Formula]:                                               \displaystyle d = \sqrt{(98-2)^2+(15-125)^2}
  2. [√Radical] (Parenthesis) Subtract:                                                                   \displaystyle d = \sqrt{(96)^2+(-110)^2}
  3. [√Radical] Evaluate exponents:                                                                       \displaystyle d = \sqrt{9216+12100}
  4. [√Radical] Add:                                                                                                 \displaystyle d = \sqrt{21316}
  5. [√Radical] Evaluate:                                                                                         \displaystyle d = 146

What is the answer to this question? Someone help!!
nirvana33 [79]
Her expenses are a fixed expense of $4500 and a weekly expense of $200.
Let's call the unknown number of weeks w.

In w weeks, the weekly expenses will by 200w.
The total expense is

200w + 4500

In a week, when earns $550. In w weeks, she earns 550w.

Set the expenses equal to the earnings and solve for w.

550w = 200w + 4500

Subtract 200w from both sides.

350w = 4500

w = 12.86

It takes her 12.86 weeks to break even.
If she works 13 weeks, she begins to make a profit.
