I think the answer is 15 cuz if the height is 3; 3 on each side is 6 so 6-16=10 and 10 divided by 2 for the two others sides is 5… and 5x3=15

Answer:

A=\frac{3\sqrt{55}}{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

For a height h, a perimeter P, and an area A, use the following formula:

A=\frac{1}{4}h\sqrt{P^{2}-4h^{2} }

Next, replace the variables with the given values:

A=\frac{1}{4}(3)\sqrt{(16)^{2}-4(3)^{2} }

Solve the inside of the square root:

A=\frac{1}{4}(3)\sqrt{256-36}\\A=\frac{1}{4}(3)\sqrt{220}

Multiply outside of the square root:

A=\frac{3}{4}\sqrt{220}\\

Simplify the square root:

A=(\frac{3}{4})2\sqrt{55}\\

Multiply outside of the square root once more:

A=\frac{3}{2}\sqrt{55}\\

Simplify:

A=\frac{3\sqrt{55}}{2}, or ≈ 11.12429773

5x-9=18
Add 9 to both sides
5x-9+9= 18+9
5x= 27
Now divide both sides by 5 to solve for x
5x/5= 27 /5

x=27/5 or 5.4

Hello,
To exist x≠0

if x>0 then
x+2/x>=3==>x²+2>=3x
==>x²-3x+2>=0
==>(x-2)(x-1)>=0 positive out of the roots
==>  (x<=1 or x>=2) and x>0
==>(0<x<=1) or (x>=2)
else
x<0
x+2/x>=3==>x²+2<=3x
==>x²-3x+2<=0 negative betheen the roots
==>(1<=x<=2) and x<0 : no solution

1) Which linear equation BEST represents the line of best fit for the scatterplot? A) y = x B) y = 3x C) y = -3x D) y = 5x + 1 2
Tresset [83]

Answer:

1) A. y = x + 2

Once a line of best fit has been placed upon a scatter graph it is straightforward to find the equation. The general equation of a straight line is: y = mx + c Where m is the slope (gradient) of the line and c is the y-intercept.

4) d. strong positive correlation.

The slope of the line is positive. Most points lie close to the line.

(I am not sure if this is correct or not, I am so sorry)
