Answer:

Seasons occur because Earth is tilted on its axis relative to the orbital plane, the invisible, flat disc where most objects in the solar system orbit the sun. ... In June, when the Northern Hemisphere is tilted toward the sun, the sun's rays hit it for a greater part of the day than in winter.

Answer:

It is because the earth's spin axis is tilted with respect to its orbital plane

Explanation:

This is what causes the seasons. When the earth's axis points towards the sun, it is summer for that hemisphere. When the earth's axis points away, winter can be expected. I hope it helps you

The deeper a fossil is found in sedimentary rock, the__?
SashulF [63]
I think the answer is "the older it is"

Reason: I might be wrong but is something (like a shell) gets buried in something (like sand), overtime many things (like dirt, soil, sand, etc.) will be on top of the original. This will make layers. So, the older rock is on the bottom since it has been there for the longest and it gets covered by other stuff (causing the layers).

Hope this helps! :) (If I'm wrong, sorry :( )

In your own words, explain why an earthworm cannot survive if it were cut in half. PLEASE HURRY
Masja [62]
It cannot survive because an earth worm will not become 2 new worm. The head of the worm may survive and regenerate a tail. But if original tail of the worm may not survive because it will not be able to grow a new head or the rest of its vital organs and it will die. I hope this helps. :)
