Which sentence shows the best example of allieration
Sunny_sXe [5.5K]

Answer:

D. Lyle, lest licorice looked luckier, largely loved lollipops.

Explanation:

Alliteration is the repetition or use of the same letters of the words in any given sentence in close quarters. In simple words, it is the repetition or use of the consonant sounds in the construction of a sentence.

Among the given sentences, option D is the best example of alliteration. This is because the letter "l" is repeatedly used in the other words. The start/ beginning of the words in that sentence starts with the letter "l" which makes it a repetition of the same sound.

Thus, the correct answer is option D.

Why is John Keats using the paradox "Cold Pastoral!" instead of the usual collocation

"sweet pastoral" in his ode?

O Attic shape! Fair attitude! with brede

Of marble men and maidens overwrought,

With forest branches and the trodden weed;

Thou, silent form, dost tease us out of thought

As doth eternity: Cold Pastoral!

A:Keats uses the word "Cold" to describe the season depicted in the picture.

Which of the following is a statement of fact by President Bush?
8090 [49]
The answer is the second one, B. The other ones are obviously opinions, and the only one that comes close is C. However, many people have different ideas about how things should be handled by citizens, making C incorrect.

This question is based on the following four sentences. 1. Netta and Jim argued over their views of free trade. 2. Netta and Jim
ElenaW [278]
I find all of the answers pretty neutral (that is, giving only facts, no judgements) except on sentence 3: this is because of the word "sharply".

It seems that the author of this sentence makes a judgement about the split: that they're very split, that their argument was very intense. It seems like a judgement to me more than the other sentences.
