La medida aproximada del lado faltante según el teorema de desigualdad de triángulos es:

  • más de 12 cm y menos de 48 cm

De acuerdo con el teorema de la desigualdad del triángulo que establece que;

La suma de la longitud de 2 lados cualesquiera de un triángulo debe ser mayor que el tercer lado.

Dado que :

a = 30 cm; b = 18 cm; c =?

Basado en el teorema de la desigualdad del triángulo;

  • c debe ser <(a + b)
  • c <(30 + 18); c <48 cm
  • También c> (a - b)
  • c> (30 - 18); c> 12 cm

Por lo tanto, el lado faltante debe ser menor que 48 y mayor que 12.

rjkz [21]
There are 36 different possibilities for his lunch.

We can use the fundamental counting principal to solve this problem. We simply need to find the number of options for each part of the meal and multiply them.

Sandwich = 3
Snack = 3
Dessert = 2
Drink = 2

3 x 3 x 2 x 2 = 36

The pattern for a scarf is shown<br> at right what is the area of this car for use 3.14
Tems11 [23]

Answer:

area of circle=pi times radius^2

diameter/2=radius

area of rectangle=length times width

rectanlge-circle=scarf

rectanlge=28 by 15=28*15=420

circle, diameter is 15 so radius is 15/2=7.5

area=pi7.5^2=pi56.25=3.14*56.25=176.625

so

rectangle-circle=420-176.625=243.375 square inches

the area of the scarf is 243.375 square inches

6. We want to build the smallest cube possible using bricks with dimensions 8 cm - 12 cm 20 cm. How many bricks do we need?
Georgia [21]

Answer:

1200

Step-by-step explanation:

We’ll need a number that is evenly dividable by all three values: 8,12 & 15. We can develop the generic common multiple by multiplying all three numbers and get 1440. But is that the smallest common multiple? The quick and dirty way to factor the number is to divide it by it’s various elements and see what works. In this case 1440/12=120 which is the smallest common multiple of the three numbers. The smallest length is therefore 120.

In order to find how many bricks just divide (120x120x120)/(8x12x15)=1200 bricks
