Now I am not sure what length you're supposed to find for problem 9, but x = 3.3 i think.

10.)

(14+x)+(x+21) = 13

2x+35=13

2x = -22

x = -11

FE = -11 + 14 = 3 units

11.)

10 + 2x - 10 = 3x - 8

2x = 3x - 8

-x = -8

x = 8

10 + 2(8) -10 = 16 units

Amir can travel 121.72 miles on 6.8 gallons of gas.
ASHA 777 [7]
The unit consumption of gas can be obtained by dividing the total distance traveled in miles by the total gallons of gas consumed by the trip. This is shown below:

121.72 miles / 6.8 gallons = 17.9

Therefore, on a gallon of gas, Amir can travel 17.9 miles, which is letter B among the choices.

Answer: C. 3.68

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that;

Sample size n = 18

degree of freedom for numerator k = 2

degree of freedom for denominator = n - k - 1 = (18-2-1) = 15

level of significance = 5% = 5/100 = 0.05

From the table values,

the critical value of F at 0.05 significance level with (2, 18) degrees of freedom is 3.68

Therefore option C. 3.68 is the correct answer

Can someone please help me with number 3 and fast because is due tomorrow.
mixer [17]

First, find the hypotenuse of the triangle with leg lengths 4 and 4. Use special triangle theorem:

1:1:sqrt(2) 4:4:4*sqrt(2)

Use the Pythagorean Theorem to find x:

2^2 + (4sqrt2)^2 = x^2

x^2 = 36

x = 6, or choice (D).
