The list of choices is a mess. None of them is correct.

Star C ... even though it's 25 times as far from our eyes as Star A is ... still appears 2 magnitudes brighter !

Star C must be a wicked hot-ball, intrinsically waaaay brighter than Star A . A wild and wooly blowtorch compared to star A. Something like 4,200 times as bright as Star A .

Reil [10]

Answer:

b. 66.7 km/h or 1.1repeating km/m

c.41.5 km/h or .69 km/m

Explanation:

These are all average speed problems, meaning you divide the distance traveled by the time s=\frac{d}{t}

A. 170km/4hrs or 170km/240 mins

B. 100km/1.5hrs or 100km/90mins

C. The only tricky thing here is the question seems like it wants the speed for all of the information given, so you do include the one hour that he stops

270km/6.5 hrs or 270km/390 mins

A manufacturer selected a metal to use in producing a lightweight button for clothing. A metal that has a density of 2.71 g/cm3
Natali5045456 [20]

Just find the density of every metal and select the one with a density of 2.71 g/cm³ . This is:

Metal 1

ρ = m/V

ρ = 22.1 g / 3 cm³

ρ = 7.367 g / cm³

Metal 2

ρ = m/V

ρ = 42 g / 4 cm³

ρ = 10.5 g / cm³

Metal 3

ρ = m/V

ρ = 9.32 g / 5 cm³

ρ = 1.864 g / cm³

Metal 4

ρ = m/V

ρ = 8.13 g / 3 cm³

ρ = 2.71 g / cm³

R / Metal 4 was selected.

Cerrena [4.2K]

Answer:

0.5A

Explanation:

V=IR where V is 1.5V, R is 3 ohms

Hence 1. 5= I x 3

1.5/3 =I

I =0.5 A

Is energy made or lost over time
Ann [662]

Well basically in physics and chemistry, the law of conservation of energy states that the total energy of an isolated system remains constant, it is said to be conserved over time. This law means that energy can neither be created nor destroyed, it can only be transformed or transferred from one form to another.

Hope this helps (:
