Step-by-step explanation:

So technically, your replacing the x, with -8, 4, 12, 20. So bassically it would be 2*-8, 2*4, 2*12, 2*20. And those answers you get will get you, your range, so 2*-8 would be -16, 2*4= 8, 2*12=24, 2*20=40

So your ranges would be, -16, 8, 24 and 40.

What is the equation of the line that passes through the point (8,9) and has a y-intercept of -3?
tankabanditka [31]

Answer:

y=3x/2-3

Step-by-step explanation:

y=mx+c

9=m(8)-3

9+3=8m

12=8m

m=12/8

m=3/2

The equation of the line is y=3x/2-3

What is the slope of the line shown below?
Nookie1986 [14]
It would be C because using the methof of rise over run, the change in x is 6 while the change in y is 17. So 14/6 woll get you 7/3.

F(x) = 7x
ziro4ka [17]

The parent function is given by f(x)= 7x

and the transformation function is given by g(x)= 7x + 6

We can see that, 6 has been added to the function f(x) to get the function g(x).

We know that when we add some constant 'c' in the function then the function gets shifted upward by 'c' units.

Therefore, we will get g(x), when we will shift f(x) upward by 6 units.

Both functions are linear function hence, the asymptote of g(x) is the asymptote of f(x) shifted six units up.

D is the correct option.
