4y = 36
y = 9
y-intercept (0, 9)

Plug in 0 for y to find the x-intercept
x + 4(0) = 36
x = 36
x-intercept (36, 0)

To find the x intercept, sub in 0 for y
x + 4y = 36
x + 4(0) = 36
x + 0 = 36
x = 36....so x intercept is (36,0)

to find the y intercept, sub in 0 for x
x + 4y = 36
0  4y = 36
4y = 36
y = 36/4
y = 9...and y intercept is (0,9)
