Answer:

G = (3,1)

H = (0,4)

I = (-2,-3)

Step-by-step explanation:

ok the important thing to note here is in which quadrant the point will be after rotation. in the question it says the points are rotated 90degrees.

we can start by point G;

it is initially in 2nd quadrant. if we were to rotate it 90 to the right. it will become in the 1st quadrant. its intial point is (-1,3) so when you rotate it 90degree to right, the y value which is 3 become the x value and the x value will become the y value. also in the 1st quadrant all points are positive, there are no negative points, so the new point of G will be;

(-1, 3) after rotation is (3,1) you see y=3 became x=3 and x= -1 became x= 1

point H;

if we look at it after 90 degree rotation the point H will be in the 1st quadrant. and we know that in the 1st quadrant both x and y are positive.

so do the same thing flip the y value to x and x value to be y.

(-4, 0) after rotation is (0 , 4)

point I;

the point I which is (3, -2) is in the 4th quadrant. so its the same rule. when you rotate it 90 degrees flip x point with the y point and y point with the x point. you should know after rotation it will be in the 3rd quadrant. in the 3rd quadrant x is negative and y is also negative. so, our new x and y points for I will be both negative after we flip x and y.

(3, -2) after 90 degree rotation becomes (-2, -3)

A blueprint for a new house has a scale of 1:50. Here are the dimensions of two rooms. Calculate the dimensions of each room on
Lorico [155]

Answer:

a.) =30.72*50

b.)13.02*50

Step-by-step explanation:

you got to calculate the area of the two rooms by multipling the sides.

as we know that the scale is 1:50, this means for every 1meter it is 50 meters.

once we have calculated the area of the space used multply it by 50 to get the area dimensions occupied

The diagram shows rays of light from a point source, P, that reach a detector, D, along two paths. One path is a straight line,
tatiyna
This can solved using the cosine law which is:
c² = a² + b² - 2ab cos θ
Using the values given from the problem
6² = b² + b² - 2bb cos 112.62
And solving for b
36 = 2b² - 2b² cos 112.62
b = 3.6

The answer is the 3rd option.

a silo is shaped like a cylinderwith a cone on top. the radii of the bases of the cylinder and cone are both equal to 8 feet. th
Ymorist [56]

Answer:

5430.85 square feet

Step-by-step explanation:

Height of the cylindrical part of the cilo   = 25 feet

radius of the base cylindrical part of cilo = 8 feet

Now volume of cylindrical part of cilo =\pi r^{2} h

Volume of cylindrical part of cilo = \pi(8^{2})25 = 1600\pi square feet

Now,

Height of the conical part of cilo = 6 feet

Radius of the conical part of cilo = 8 feet

Volume of the conical  part of cilo = \frac{1}{3}\pi (8^{2})6= 128\pi square feet

Volume of the entire cilo = 1600\pi + 128\pi = 1728\pi

since \pi =\frac{22}{7} therefore,

volume of entire cilo =   \frac{22}{7} (1728)= 5430.85
