Read this excerpt from White Fang. Suddenly he saw a strange thing like mist beginning to arise from the sticks and moss beneath

Grey Beaver's hands. Then, amongst the sticks themselves, appeared a live thing, twisting and turning, of a colour like the colour of the sun in the sky. White Fang knew nothing about fire. It drew him as the light in the mouth of the cave had drawn him in his early puppyhood. He crawled the several steps toward the flame. In this excerpt, White Fang’s character is most developed through his misunderstanding of
* Grey Beaver..
* light
.* color.
* fire.

The unstated assumption here is that anyone who thinks that using these embryos is unjust because they believe the embryo is already a baby, does not care about the lives currently being affected by these diseases that need cures. There is also an unstated assumption that embryos are not alive and therefore what happens to this “ball of cells” does not really matter. There is an assumption that these embryos are a key factor in finding treatment for these diseases.

The statement is for harvesting embryos by assuming that the reader agrees with the fact that embryos are not alive and that they are not human beings yet. Having to appeal to a reader is an important part in writing and this particular paragraph would probably not appeal so much to mothers. Some might argue that these harsh unstated assumptions about the audience of this passage would affect the overall opinion and reactions to it.

Answer:

Native Americans are engaged in an ongoing struggle for rights.

Explanation:

The Indian Termination policy was an attempt to assimilate Native Americans into mainstream society. It theoretically gave Native Americans all the rights and duties of American citizens. However, some consequences of this were negative, as this policy ended sovereignty and freedom for most tribes. As a consequence of this policy, Native Americans are engaged in an ongoing struggle for rights, as they fight to regain their sovereignty.

AnnZ [28]

Many poems are actually felt rather than read. This is the result of the application of a sentimental language during the composition of the poem. To externalize this sentimentality, the poet uses figures of speech and several rhetorical resources that are capable of intensifying all the sentimentality present in the words.

An example of poetry that is felt rather than read is "Annabel Lee" written by Edgar Alan Poe. This poetry has a strong melancholy content and expresses in a masterly way the pain and sadness of losing someone loved.
