When dividing same numbers with different exponents (they’re both 10 so this works different than if they were different numbers) you subtract the top exponent by the bottom exponent. So 15-4=11 ultimately making the solution 10^11. Hope this helps :)

Does this graph represent a function? Why or why not?
DedPeter [7]

Answer: C

Step-by-step explanation: For a function, each x-coordinate corresponds to exactly one y-coordinate.

To determine whether the graph shown here

is a function, we can use the vertical line test.

The vertical line test tells us that if each x-coordinate on the graph corresponds to exactly one y-coordinate, then any vertical line that we draw on the graph should hit the graph at only one point.

For the graph show here, any vertical line that you draw with hit the graph at only one point which means it does pass the vertical line test.

So this graph is a <em>function</em>.

George has opened a new store and he is monitoring its success closely. He has found that this store's revenue each month can be
makvit [3.9K]

Answer:

The new store will have a profit of $5400 after its fifth month.

(R-C)(x) = (x²+5x+14)-(x²-4x+5) = x²-x²+5x--4x+14-5 = 5x+4x+14-5=9x+9

(Use 5 for x)

(R-C)(5) = 9(5) + 9 = 45+9 = 54

Corresponding points must be an equal distance from the Line of Reflection.
d1i1m1o1n [39]
It is true that corresponding points must be an equal distance from the Line of reflection. This is because in cases of reflection, the image is far behind the mirror or line of reflection as the object is in front of the mirror. What this proposition means is, the distance from the object to the line of reflection is equal to the distance between the reflection line and the image. There sizes are bound to be equal to, and hence the two corresponding points will be similar.
