Answer:

- Not Proportional because graph is shifted. The ratio is not linear at the origin point.

- Not proportional so you dont have to answer this part.

Step-by-step explanation:

Somethign is proportional if they have the same ratio.

For example,

1/1=1 ,   3:3=1 ,   7/7=1.

They all use different number, but when you divide them, you get the same answer, 1.

An example of something not proportional is:

1/2=0.5 ,   3/4=0.75 ,   9/10=0.9

These ratio (division) results in different answers so they're not proportional

But lets take a look at your question.

4-topping to $0 --> 4/0 = ∞

6-toppings : $3 -->  6/3 = 2

8-toppings / $6 --> 8/6 = 4/3

...

Notice how they result in different answer when dividing. Therefore they are NOT proportional. Whether you use the ":" or the "/" symbol, they mean the same thing.

You need to create a chart like the one attached and put your own values in it. The teacher wants atleast 3 inputs and outputs but 4 or 5 is better. You first need to create a rule (EX: x+1=y)

What is the difference 4 1/3 - (-2/3)
rodikova [14]

Answer:

5

Step-by-step explanation:

2 negatives always equal a positive.

We have to convert 4 1/3 into a improper fraction which is 13/3. Since we know 2 negatives equal a positive, we add both fractions. 13/3 + 2/3 ewuals 15/3 which equals 5.

Select the correct answer. 2 Jay stores hay in cubic stacks on his farm. If the length of each stack is 3 yard, what is the volu
Maurinko [17]

Cubic stack would mean all the sides are the same length.

The length of the side is given as 3 yards.

Volume = 3^3 = 3 x 3 x 3 = 27

Volume = 27 cubic yards.

X^2+12=40 what number must you add to complete the square?
posledela

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

1) If you really meant X^2+12=40, then this simplifies to x^2 = 28, and therefore x = ±√28, or x = ±2√7.

2) If you meant X^2+12x=40:

a) Take half of the coefficient of x:  that would be (1/2)(12), or 6.

b) Square this result, obtaining:  6² = 36

c) Add this 36 to x^2 + 12x + 40, and then subtract it:  We get:

x² + 12x + 36 - 36 = 40, or x² + 12x + 36 = 76

We have to add 36, as indicated above, to "complete the square."
