When the forces acting on an object have equal strength and act in opposite directions, they are balanced. These forces cancel out one another, and the motion of the object they are acting on remains unchanged. When the forces acting on an object are unbalanced, they do not cancel out one another.

!! ⬇️

Tug-of-war is a great example of balanced and unbalanced forces. Gravity pulls objects down. In Zoe's DIY, the force of gravity pulled the egg down into the cup when the other objects were forced out of the way.

To determine if the forces acting upon an object are balanced or unbalanced, an analysis must first be conducted to determine what forces are acting upon the object and in what direction. If two individual forces are of equal magnitude and opposite direction, then the forces are said to be balanced.

If the forces on an object are balanced, the net force is zero. If the forces are unbalanced forces, the effects don't cancel each other. Any time the forces acting on an object are unbalanced, the net force is not zero, and the motion of the object changes.

How are cultural stereotypes of Native Americans in cartoons and movies harmful?
Brrunno [24]

Answer:

Today there are numerous stereotypes regarding Native Americans that are maintained from the past, and that have been consolidated through the mass media, especially film and television. Thus, for example, natives are shown as uneducated people, who practically do not know the language and even have slow reasoning. In addition, their scant clothing and almost ridiculous ornaments seem more like a costume than a traditional dress. Lastly, these people are often portrayed as less prone to work, lazy, and quarrelsome.

All these stereotypes have damaged the image of the natives in America, and have contributed to the discrimination that they suffer daily at the hands of the majority western society of the country.

goldfiish [28.3K]
I would call this an ode which is a lyric (musical) poem addressed to a particular subject and sometimes it can be sung. I also think of an ode as showing reverence for someone as this poem obviously does as the speaker talks of worshippiing the object of his/her affections
