<h2>Solving Quadratic Equations by Completing the Square Method</h2><h3>Answer:</h3>

x = 4 +\sqrt{19} and x = 4 -\sqrt{19}

<h3>Step-by-step explanation:</h3>

Recall:

x^2 -2ax +a^2 = (x -a)^2

x^2 -8x = 3 \\ x^2 -8x +16 = 3 +16 \\ (x -4)^2 = 19 \\ x -4 = ±\sqrt{19} \\ x = 4 ±\sqrt{19}
