The attempts by the British government to control and regulate the colonies during the American Revolution proves that there are unintended consequences that result from one's actions.

  • Britain waged a ferocious war against the colonists for daring to declare their independence from her rule.  Instead of entering into dialogue with the colonies, Britain took to war.

  • Britain did this without taking into account the consequences of her actions.  She did not even factor into the equation her ability to prosecute successfully this unjust war against her own people.

  • The aims of the British actions against the colonists did not produce the intended results.  American won her independence, defeating Great Britain in the war.  Britain started losing its hegemony from that moment.  Other attempts to colonize other lands were heavily resisted.

Thus, it is imperative to analyze and assess the consequences of leadership actions before taking decisions.

Aleks [24]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Secretary of State Colin Powell expressed his belief that America’s success is based upon the nation’s diverse population. I totally agree with his statement.

Of course, America is successful for many reasons, but one of the most important truly is the diversity of its people.

My first example is that this great nation was built by immigrants, people that came from England founded the 13 first colonies in North America.

Secondly, as history teaches us, many European immigrants came to this country to find a better life through hard work and commitment: Italians, Irish, Jewish, and many more. Of course, there are the African people who were brought to America as part of the slave trade.

Finally, Asian and Latin American immigration have given their own identity to the United States because most of them have an open productive business or are working in the fabrics, industries, and farms of America. All of them brought with them their history, traditions, culture, and customs, forging the diverse United States that have contributed since their fronts, this great country.

How did english revolution inspire the american revolution
katen-ka-za [31]

Answer:

English Civil War history influenced New England before the American Revolution. English history influenced the thinking of American colonials, so that Americans in the 1700’s repeated the same arguments that Englishmen used against King Charles I and his use of taxation and an army in the 1600’s.
