C prime would just be (4, 2) cause you are dilating it at 0,0 and with a scale factor of 2.
2(2, 1) is (4, 2)
This is double the distance from 0, 0 which makes sense

In ΔSTU, the measure of ∠U=90°, the measure of ∠T=47°, and ST = 7.2 feet. Find the length of US to the nearest tenth of a foot.
Sauron [17]

Answer:

US=5.3\ ft

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

In the right triangle STU

The sine of angle T is equal to the opposite side angle T divided by the hypotenuse

sin(T)=\frac{US}{ST}

substitute the values

sin(47\°)=\frac{US}{7.2}

US=(7.2)sin(47\°)=5.3\ ft

The indicated function y1(x) is a solution of the associated homogeneous equation. Use the method of reduction of order to find
Serga [27]

Answer:

Required solution is y(x)=1+A\cos x+B\sin x where A and B are constants.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given nonhomogenous differential equation is,

y''(x)+y'(x)=1\hfill (1)   with y_1(x)=1

To find another solution, consider m=\frac{\partial}{\partial x} be such that,

m^2+1=0\implies m=\pm i

Hence,

C.F=A\cos x+B\sin x   where A and B are constants.

Let  D=\frac{\partial}{\partial x}

P.I=\frac{1}{1+D^2}(1)

=(1+D^2)^{-1}(1)

=(1-D^2+.....)(1)=1

Hence,

y(x)=1+A\cos x+B\sin x where A and B are constants.

which is required solution.
