The sum of two vectors is (- 0.5, 10.1)

Explanation:

To add two vectors, add the corresponding components.

Let u =⟨u1,u2⟩ and v =⟨v1,v2⟩ be two vectors.

Then, the sum of u and v is the vector

u +v =⟨u1+v1, u2+v2⟩

(b)

Two vectors = ( 3, 4 )

angle 2π/3 = 120°

In x axis, the vector is = 7 cos 120°

                           = 7 X -\frac{1}{2} \\\\= -3.5

In y axis, the vector is = 7 sin 120°

                                  = 7 X 0.866

                                  = 6.062

The second vectors are ( -3.5, 6.062)

Sum of two vectors = [( 3 + (-3.5) ), (4 + 6.062)]

                              = (- 0.5, 10.1)

Jake ran two laps around a running
stiv31 [10]

Answer:

The total distance he ran and rode is 16.05 miles

Step-by-step explanation:

Here, we want to find the total distance that was ran and biked by Jake

For the running, the track measures 1.2 miles and he ran two laps.

That gives a total of 1.2 * 2 = 2.4 miles

For the biking, the track is 4.55 miles and he went 3 laps.

The total amount of laps went is 4.55 * 3 = 13.65 miles

So the total amount of distance he has biked and ran is 13.65 + 2.4 = 16.05 miles

I’m triangle abc sin A = 2
soldi70 [24.7K]
Short answer C

Comment
How to explain this is not simple. There are all kinds of ways of dealing with it.

One fact is that Sin(A) = Cos (90 - A). But you may not have had that yet.

An easier way is just to use side notation.

The sin of an acute angle in a right triangle is the Opposite over the hypotenuse.
In this case, Sin(A) = o/h = BC / AB which you were told was 24/25

Now look at the Cosine of B
It's definition is Adjacent / hypotenuse
Cos(B) = a/h = 24/25

Answer
Sin(A) = Cos(B) or

The base unit used to measure volume/liquid capacity in the metric system is _______.
s2008m [1.1K]

Answer:

Liter

Step-by-step explanation:

Metric system is often used as the primary scheme of measurement in various countries, and is also used as one of the two schemes prevalent in the United States.

The basic units in this scheme of measurement include units such as,

-Meter for measuring length

-Kilogram for measuring mass

-Second for measuring time

The base unit for measuring the liquid capacity, which is more commonly referred to as volume, is liters.
