I have seen some scales that convert units and some that don't

first is convert

the scale converts from smaller to bigger
?:1in
6ft/8in=0.75ft/1
scale is 0.75ft:1in

other one doesn't convert dimentions

6ft=6*12in=72in
72in:8in
9:1

that is most ilkely what teacher is looking for
scale is 9:1

72in:8in

In politics, marketing, etc. we often want to estimate a percentage or proportion p. One calculation in statistical polling is t
aksik [14]

The absolute value inequality is given as |(p - 0.43)I ≤ 0.019

<h3 />

<h3>How to describe the proportion using the absolute value inequality</h3>

The proportion p = 43% = 0.43

Margin of error = 1.9% = 0.019

The value of the proportion can then be said to lie between

(0.43 - 0.019) ≤ p ≤ (0.43 + 0.019)

In order to convert to the absolute inequality we would be having

-0.019 ≤ (p - 0.43) ≤ 0.019

I (p - 0.43)I ≤ 0.019

Andrew [12]

Answer:

Minimum = \$241786

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Amount = \$228,100

Commission = 6\%

Required

Determine the minimum Katie will list the house

The given minimum is the minimum she can receive for the house after commission

To calculate the listing minimum, we make use of the following:

Minimum = Amount + Commission * Amount

Minimum = \$228,100 + 6\% * \$228,100

Minimum = \$228,100 + \$13686

Minimum = \$241786

<em>The minimum She can list the house is $241786</em>
