Summarize one or more impacts of the physics of matter on aviation operations.
ipn [44]

Answer:

Answered

Explanation:

impacts of the physics of matter on aviation operations.

Thrust, drag and lift.

Thrust:

It is the force developed by airplane engines that cause it to pull forward. With the help of huge propellers of course attached to the wings.

Drag:

It is the resistive force on the plane caused by the friction between air and plane. Its magnitude depends upon surface area, speed and viscosity of the air.

Lift:

The drag produced is utilized such that one of its component acts opposite to the weight. This causes the plane to take flight and stay in air. Lift can be deduced using Bernoulli's principle.

Bernoulli's principle is equivalent to law of conservation of energy. Meaning it tries to keep the energy of a system constant. In doing so, it produces low pressure zone above the wing. Which causes a net upward force, lift.

Uranium-238 (U238) has three more neutrons than uranium-235 (U235). Compared to the speed of sound in a bar of U235, is the spee
natta225 [31]

Answer:

The correct  answers to then question are

A and B

Explanation:

As highlighted, the atoms of the two isotopes are chemically identical and they have similar characteristics due to the presence of equal number of protons  and electrons (92 each). Therefore factors influenced by the chemistry of the atoms of the isotopes such as the distance between atoms and the stiffness of the inter-atomic spring is identical for both  U_{235} and  U_{238}

An analogy of the spring constant and the inter-atomic distance is to consider the atoms of the metal to be interconnected by elastic material and as such the stiffness of the elastic material and the inter-atomic distance are determined by surface factors occurring on the surface

Consider a rocket that is in deep space and at rest relative to an inertial reference frame. The rocket's engine is to be fired
ValentinkaMS [17]

Answer:

\frac{m_i}{m_f}=2.7182

\frac{m_i}{m_f}=1096.633

Explanation:

m_i = Initial mass of rocket

m_f = Final mass of rocket

u = Initial velocity

v_r = Relative velocity

v = Velocity

From the rocket equation

v=u+v_{r}\ln {\frac {m_{i}}{m_{f}}}\\\Rightarrow v=v_{r}\ln {\frac {m_{i}}{m_{f}}}\\\Rightarrow \frac{m_i}{m_f}=e^{\frac{v}{v_{r}}}\\\Rightarrow \frac{m_i}{m_f}=e^{\frac{v}{v}}=e^1\\\Rightarrow \frac{m_i}{m_f}=2.7182

\frac{m_i}{m_f}=2.7182

when v=7v_r

v=v_{r}\ln {\frac {m_{i}}{m_{f}}}\\\Rightarrow \frac{m_i}{m_f}=e^{\frac{v}{v_{r}}}\\\Rightarrow \frac{m_i}{m_f}=e^{\frac{7v_r}{v_r}}=e^7\\\Rightarrow \frac{m_i}{m_f}=1096.633

\frac{m_i}{m_f}=1096.633
