Answer:

79.2°

Step-by-step explanation:

We know,

That Angle 1 and angle 3 are vertically opposite angles.

And as vertically opposite angles are always equal so

According to the question

13x + 22 = 18x

= > 22 = 18x - 13x

= > 5x= 22

= > x = \frac{22}{5}

= > x = 4.4

Now,

We know that the value of x is 4.4°

And Angle 3 = 18x

So,

angle \: 3 = 18x

= > angle \: 3 = 18(4.4)

= > angle \: 3 = 79.2

___________________________________

We can even Check it!!

We know that Angle 1 = Angle 3 ( Vertically opposite angles)

So,

According to the question

13x + 22 = 18x

=>13(4.4) + 22 = 18(4.4)

=> 79.2 = 79.2

As L.H.S = R.H.S

So The measure of angle 3 is 79.2° ( and it is already rounded to the nearest tenths.)

Hope it helps you!!

Answer:

79.2°

Step-by-step explanation:

We know,

That Angle 1 and angle 3 are vertically opposite angles.

And as vertically opposite angles are always equal so

According to the question

13x + 22 = 18x13x+22=18x

= > 22 = 18x - 13x=>22=18x−13x

= > 5x= 22=>5x=22

= > x = \frac{22}{5}=>x=522

= > x = 4.4=>x=4.4

Now,

We know that the value of x is 4.4°

And Angle 3 = 18x

So,

angle \: 3 = 18xangle3=18x

= > angle \: 3 = 18(4.4)=>angle3=18(4.4)

= > angle \: 3 = 79.2=>angle3=79.2

We can even Check it!!

We know that Angle 1 = Angle 3 ( Vertically opposite angles)

So,

According to the question

13x + 22 = 18x13x+22=18x

As L.H.S = R.H.S

So The measure of angle 3 is 79.2° ( and it is already rounded to the nearest tenths.)

A piece of fabric is 2 yards long Marcus puts one patch at each end of the fabric and at each quarter foot mark how many patches
klio [65]
Conversion.
1 yard = 3 feet

So the fabric has 2 yards. Then the size of the patch is 1/4 foot.
So the number of patches that Marcus used is..
= 3 * 2
= 6 / (1/4)
= 24 patches.

So a total of 24 patches Marcus used.

Use complete sentences to explain how to use linear factors to determine the equation of a polynomial function
Leona [35]

Answer: p(x) = a (x-b)(x-c)(x-d)

Step-by-step explanation:

The first step is to determine the degree of the polynomial.

It shall depend totally on the linear factors given for the polynomial.

If there is one, it is a linear polynomial.

If there are 2, then it is a quadratic polynomial.

If there are three then it shall be a cubic polynomial.

Now let us assume that there are three linear factors.

We multiply those factors and write the polynomial.

If x-b, x-c & x-d are the factors we write

p(x) = (x-b)(x-c)(x-d)

But as we may have a leading coefficient so we write the polynomial as

Then we go on to expand this to get the polynomial in the standard form.

First lets get the ratio for the avocado and pear trees and work from there
We know there are 5 pear trees for every 2 avocado trees or 5:2

Since we know the total Avocado trees is 18 we can find out how much to multiply the ratio by dividing the total number of trees(18) by the Avocado portion of the ratio (2) 18/2 = 9.

This means to get the total number of pear trees we need to also multiply the pear side of the ratio (5) by 9. 5*9 = 45 pear trees

Now that we know the pear trees we do the same thing with the apple and pear trees to figure out the total apple trees. The ratio of apple to pear trees is 4:3.

Since we know the total number of pear trees is 45 we divide that by the pear side of the ratio (3) to get our multiplier. 45/3=15.

We then multiply our apple side of the ratio (4) by our multiplier (15) to get our total number of apple trees. 4*15=60

Now we know that we have 60 apple trees and 18 avocado trees or 60:18 which reduced is 10:3 apple trees:avocado trees
