Writing an expression consists of combining two or more variables, symbols, or numbers, with one or more mathematical operators to form a mathematical sentence that is based on a specific context

The expression for the total cost for bowling is 45·h + 5·f

The reason the above expression is correct is as follows:

The given parameters are;

The cost of shoe rentals for bowling per player = $5

The cost to book a lane per hour = $45

The number of people in the group of friends = f

The number of hours the friends go bowling = h

Required:

To write an expression for the total cost for the group of friends to go bowling

Solution:

Let the number of lanes the friends book= 1

The total cost, C, is the cost to book one lane at $45 per hour for h hours, plus the cost for the f number of friends to rent one shoe each at $5 per player (person)

Mathematically,  C = 45·h + 5·f

The expression for the total cost for the group of friends to go bowling, is therefore;

45·h + 5·f

hope dis helps

Answer:

∆DPL ~ ∆QAZ

Step-by-step explanation:

In the diagram given, the following can be deduced:

<D is congruent to <Q

<P is congruent to <A

<L is congruent to <Z

From these, looking at the letter arrangement, the similarity statement can be written as:

A skateboarding ramp is 12 in. high and rises at an angle of 21°. How long is the base of the ramp? Round to the nearest inch.
bagirrra123 [75]

Answer:

the base of the ramp is 31 inches long.

Step-by-step explanation:

c = a/sin(α)

= 33.48514

b = √c2 - a2

= √33.4851373155042 - 122

= √977.25442103816

= 31.26107

How to do this and find the max or min points
Veronika [31]
I see your last line is : c(x) = 0.9(x^2-10)^2 + 101.1

Let y = x^2, then c(y) = 0.9(y-10)^2 + 101.1

Apparently, c(y) is a parabola, min is 101.1 when y = 10, max is infinity

So let x^2 = 10 -> x = sqrt(10) or -sqrt(10), min is 101.1, max is infinity
