Answer:

432 square feet

Step-by-step explanation:

We know perimeter of rectangle is 2(length + width)

we already know that length is 8 yards

and perimeter is 84 feet

we need to find width first

then

we find area of garden by using formula

area of rectangle = length * width

first we need to convert yards into feet as perimeter is in yards

1 yard = 3 feet

8 yards = 3*8 feet = 24 feet

now we plug value of length and perimeter in formula

perimeter = 2(length + width)

84 = 2(24 + width)

84/2 = 24 + width

=> 42 = 24 + width

=> width = 42 - 24 = 18

Thus, width of garden is 18 feet

now

area of the garden = length * width = 24* 18 feet square

area of the garden= 432 square feet

Other way to explain:

perimeter = 2 *length + 2 *width

length = 24 feet (8 yards = 24 feet)

since perimeter = 84 feet

84 = 2 * 24 + 2 * width

36 = 2 * width

18 = width

width = 18 feet

area of rectangle is length * width = 24 * 18 = 432 square feet

Answer:

Distance of Tunnel is 500 meters + Train travel rate is 20 meters per second = 25 seconds to pass through the tunnel only therefore the outstanding balance of 35 seconds x 20 meters per second =600 meters Train

Step-by-step explanation:

Total of length of train 600 meters and tunnel (500 meters) is 1,200 meters +30 seconds = TR of 20 meters per second

One cubic meter represents a cube shape that measures 1 meter in all three dimensions. how long is each side in centimeters?
ANEK [815]

Each side of cube is 100 cm.

What is a cube?

In Maths or in Geometry, a Cube is a solid three-dimensional figure, which has 6 square faces, 8 vertices and 12 edges. It is also said to be a regular hexahedron.

Given that,

Volume of cube = 1 cubic meter

We know that,

1 m = 100 cm

Also  volume of cube = a^{3}

Then,

Volume of cube = 1000000 cm

                   a^{3}  = 100^{3}

                   a = 100 cm

Hence, Each side of cube is 100 cm.

CAN SOMEONE GIVE ME A SUPER SIMPLE ANSWER TO THIS!!??
umka2103 [35]

Answer:

A difference of squares has the following form . Any two perfect squares connected by subtraction can be factored.

It factors to (a+b)(a-b).

Step-by-step explanation:

A binomial is an expression with only terms where at least one is a term with a variable. When we can factor for difference of squares, we can have two variable terms or just one with a constant.

A difference of squares has the following form . Any two perfect squares connected by subtraction can be factored.

It factors to (a+b)(a-b).
