Identify The four social groups in ancient Egypt and explain who belong to each group
nikklg [1K]

The social groups in ancient Egypt were pharaoh, vizier, high priests and nobles.

Pharaoh were the kings of ancient Egypt. In Egyptian civilization, the pharaohs were considered living gods. The Egyptians believed that these rulers were direct children of the god Osiris, so they acted as intermediaries between the gods and the Egyptian population.

Vizier was Pharaoh's prime minister and assisted him in managing many kingdom affairs. He had the job of transmitting the king's orders, collecting taxes, administering justice, controlling the state of public works, and also controlling river transport.

High Priests in the social hierarchy below only in Pharaoh. Endued with enormous prestige and power, they were the Priests or responsible for religion and various functions in the administration of the Egyptian Empire. They were considered the wise men of Egypt.

Nobles  the third class was intended for the nobles. Among them military chiefs, who were responsible for the security of Egyptian territory.

Why is it impossible from an individual to inherit a recessive condition if only one parent is a carrier for that condition
Jobisdone [24]
I added a picture of a badly-drawn cross as an example to help me explain. Let's say h is the recessive allele, in this case, that would cause a recessive condition. The heterozygous Hh parent is the carrier and they are being crossed with a homozygous dominant HH parent.

As you can see, all of the children are either homozygous dominants HH or heterozygous carriers Hh. None of the children can be homozygous recessive hh because there is not a recessive allele h to inherit from the other parent. Because H is dominant over h, the recessive condition won't be displayed.

Did the US government do enough to respond to
sammy [17]

What was America's Response to the Holocaust before the War?

Americans paid attention and were outraged by the Nazi attacks through petitions where tens of thousands of Americans wrote, signed, and sent the documents to Washington. It tells that the American people had information on the persecution of the Jews in 1933. The Americans saw the early warning sign through Adolf Hitler, an authoritarian ruler who had spread an exclusionary and violent racist ideology that became the precursors to genocide. To protest, Americans showed up at rallies and boycotted German stores.

What could the US Have done differently?

Adolf Hitler paid close attention to the American media coverage and may have gone further, and faster, had he not read about the American people's disapproval. Fewer Jews may have gotten out of Germany, and America could have been less prepared to respond militarily. The rallies, petitions, and boycotts mattered a great deal with a network formed by like-minded Americans who in this period that later led some Americans to raise their voices even louder and take greater risks as Nazi persecutions of Jews worsened in Europe. There were warning signs on Hitler and Nazi Germany, weekly and the US would have acted. These signs included the targeting of Jews, communists, and other political opponents.
