Answer:

Fire and shelter made of animal skin

Explanation:

There were many ways that old Stone age people survived. There were caves that were mostly used to house them during cold seasons. They also used fire to warm themselves during night and their places of sleep. Those who couldn't access caves made houses from animal skins that helped them reduce the strength of cold. These shelters combined with fire, provided enough warmth that they needed. Looking at other answers like stone homes, this could be an answer if they are referring to the caves, but caves aren't everywhere and we can base on this to be the best answer. Heaters, is one of the modern technology, and buildings to are also modern structures used for housing so as to keep off from coldness.

Answer:

A.) Fire and shelter made of animal skins

Explanation:

When it comes to surviving a stone age winter the most important factor would have been stockpiling some kind of preservable food, most likely nuts or wild grain. Hunting during the winter would also be an option, as animals like the Irish Elk would be plentiful and easy to track and see in the snow. Stone Age humans hunted large mammals, including wooly mammoths, giant bison, and deer. They used stone tools to cut, pound, and crush—making them better at extracting meat and other nutrients from animals and plants than their earlier ancestors. Obviously, there were no heaters and large buildings back during this time.
