A triangle has sides with lengths of 28 millimeters, 34 millimeters, and 43 millimeters. Is it a right triangle?
dezoksy [38]
To find if it's a right triangle, we use the Pythagorean Theorem of a² + b² = c² where a and b are the legs of the triangle (the shorter measurements) and c is the hypotenuse (the biggest measurement).

28² + 34² = 43²
784 + 1156 = 1849
1940 ≠ 1849

No. This is not a right triangle. The sum of the squares of the shorter measurements (AKA the legs) do not equal the square of the biggest measurement.

Can Someone can help me pls thank youuuuu so much if so .............
Y_Kistochka [10]

Answer:

\sqrt{45}  = 6.7

Step-by-step explanation:

\sqrt{(7 - 1) {}^{2} + (1( - 2)) {}^{2}  }

that is how you weould set it up.

\sqrt{(6) {}^{2} +  (3) {}^{2} }

thats what you'd do if you added or subtracted what was in the perenthesis

36 + 9 = 45

rember that you have to put it back into square root

\sqrt{45 }  = 6.7

and that would be your final answer!
