Stop calling yourself dummie and other mean words. . And ask the question in the question box, and not saying irrelevant things like that. I see you search every answer u have. Try to do it yourself, look up steps and how to do it on yt or something. Try, at least.

Firdavs [7]

Answer:

(–10, –2), (6, 6)

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

The formula to calculate the slope between two points is equal to

m=\frac{y2-y1}{x2-x1}

<u><em>Verify each case</em></u>

case 1) (5, –4), (–2, 1)

substitute in the formula

m=\frac{1-(-4)}{-2-5}

m=\frac{1+4}{-2-5}

m=\frac{5}{-7}

m=-\frac{5}{7}  ----> the slope is negative

case 2) (6, –10), (2, 10)

substitute in the formula

m=\frac{10-(-10)}{2-6}

m=\frac{10+10}{2-6}

m=\frac{20}{-4}

m=-5  ----> the slope is negative

case 3) (–10, –2), (6, 6)

substitute in the formula

m=\frac{6-(-2)}{6-(-10)}

m=\frac{6+2}{6+10}

m=\frac{8}{16}

m=0.5  ----> the slope is positive

case 4) (5, –1), (–6, 6)

substitute in the formula

m=\frac{6-(-1)}{-6-5}

m=\frac{6+1}{-6-5}

m=\frac{7}{-11}

m=-\frac{7}{11}   ----> the slope is negative

Jessica is shopping for a new car. She found a blue car that has a 12-gallon gas tank and can go 384 miles on one tank. She foun
adelina 88 [10]

Answer:

Silver car

Step-by-step explanation:

It seems pretty hard but it's actually REALLY easy. gas mileage means the number of miles you can go on a particular amount of gallons. But the gallons have to be the same for both cars so that it's fair.

so let's go with 10 gallons. pretty broad number right?

so to get 12 gallons(the gallons for the blue car) to 10, We divide it by 12 then multiply it by 10. Try it yourself, (12/12)*10=???

then we do that to 384 (the miles for the blue car)

(384/12)*10=320

so 320 is the mileage for the first car. Repeat the steps for the silver car!

(14/14)*10=10

so then: (504/14)*10= 360.

So which is bigger, 320 or 360?

360 is bigger, meaning it has better gas mileage.
