45 m

Explanation:

Use the equations of motion.

We know that:

S= the unknown

U=3 m/s

V=12 m/s

A=1.5 m/s

T= we won't need it

The equation used: v^2=u^2+2as

Subsitute the values: 12^2=3^2+2*1.5*s\\

Solve the equation:

144=9+3s

135=3s

s=45 m

change in momentum = mass•initial velocity•final velocity

so....

p=700(15) because your initial is 30, and your final in 15, so you subtract! hope that helped!
