Water flows from the faucet at the rate of 5 L every 25 seconds at this rate how much water will flow from the faucet in 45 seco
Citrus2011 [14]
5L:25Seconds=1L:5seconds
In 50 seconds there will be 10L of water
In 45 We will have to subtract 1L because we are exceeding 5 seconds and in 5 seconds 1L of water comes out
10L-1L=9L
There will be 9L of water

The total cost of a dress,including tax, was $121.37. If 6% tax was added to the sale price, what was the sale price before taxe
Mamont248 [21]

Answer:

We have

sale price + 6% x sale price = $121.37;

Then

(106/100) x sale price = $121.37;

sale price = $121.37 x 100 / 106;

sale price = $12137 / 106;

sale price = $114.50;
