Which is a solution of the inequality?<br>p + 4 – 2(p – 10) &gt; 0
boyakko [2]

Hi Laila

p+4 -2(p-10)>0

The first thing you need to do is simplify the both sides

So that will be

p-2p + 4+ 20 > 0

-p + 24 > 0

-p > 0-24

-p > -24

Now since we can not have the negative sign in front of P, we need to do something. What we need to do is divide both sides by -1

-p/-1 > -24/-1

p < 24

Remember to change the symbol.

I hope that's help and if you have any further questions please let me know :)

(01.01 MC)Why is 2 + (−3) equal to −1
tino4ka555 [31]

2+(-3) = -1

2- 3 = -1

-1=-1

The question is why though ?

It is because you keep the negative exponent which is with the biggest number. So this is how its look like +2 -3, so 3 is bigger then 2 so for that reason you keep the negative sign.

I hope that's help:)

What is h(x)=x^(2)+2 find x if h(x)=6 please help me
zysi [14]

Answer:

its both positive or negative 2

Step-by-step explanation:

Y=x^(2)+2

*subtract the 2 on both sides: 6=x^(2)+2

*square root both sides: 4=x^2

the square root of 4 is 2, so the answer would be positive 2.

we also know -2^2 is positive 4, which gives us

x=+2

x=-2
