Paragraph 13 of the story states that Gortsby uttered “an exclamation of concern.” Explain why Gortsby was concerned. Quote at l

east one sentence from paragraph 14 to support your explanation.
13: With that reflection Gortsby rose to go; as he did so an exclamation of concern escaped him. Lying on the ground by the side of the bench was a small oval packet . . . It could be nothing else but a cake of soap, and it had evidently fallen out of the youth’s overcoat pocket when he flung himself down on the seat. In another moment Gortsby was scudding along the dusk-shrouded path in anxious quest for a youthful figure in a light overcoat. He had nearly given up the search when he caught sight of the object of his pursuit standing irresolutely on the border of the carriage drive, evidently uncertain whether to strike across the Park or make for the bustling pavements of Knightsbridge. He turned round sharply with an air of defensive hostility when he found Gortsby hailing him.

14: “The important witness to the genuineness of your story has turned up,” said Gortsby, holding out the cake of soap . . .“If the loan of a sovereign is any good to you—”

15: The young man hastily removed all doubt on the subject by pocketing the coin.

Answer:

THERES NOT REALLY ANYTHING FOR #14 LOL

Explanation:

Anyways- Gortsby was concerned because he was anxious to go on this quest because he thinks that traveling would be hard and all the places he has to go. For example, in paragraph 13 it states, "Gortsby was scudding along the dusk-shrouded path in anxious quest for a youthful figure in a light overcoat. He had nearly given up the search when he caught sight of the object of his pursuit standing irresolutely on the border of the carriage drive, evidently uncertain whether to strike across the Park or make for the bustling pavements of Knightsbridge.". This proves how he was anxious about all these quests he had to do and stuff like that. Another example, is that in paragraph 14 it states, "'The important witness to the genuineness of your story has turned up,” said Gortsby, holding out the cake of soap . . .“If the loan of a sovereign is any good to you—'”. This shows how he's kind of nervous/concerned to sell this cake of soap.

 • Predictability
 • Calculability
 • Efficiency
 • Control

Predictability is the prediction of food menu. Food menu is same through out the stores of same restaurant. Building, decorations and uniforms are also the same through out the stores.

Awareness can begin for many different forms but empathy cannot exist first without it. In this case of the students, they came across an article that before it existed to them its message was unknown in their world. After reading the passage the value of voting clearly came from a level of empathy based on the obstacles the writer had over come. These students clearly had an open mind to begin. The thoughts in their mind may have been something in the realm of " This person nearly died for the right for something I can do at ease", " I would be irresponsible to not take advantage of my rights" and so on. We all live off of the backs of those in the past rather positive or negatively and those with an open mind more than likely will rise to the occasion.

Consider a venturi with a small hole drilled in the side of the throat. This hole is connected via a tube to a closed reservoir.
Allisa [31]
 • Answer:

Concept of effect:

The venturi vessel is simply implemented in the various procedures to obtain the increased value of velocity,v by constriction of the vessel's diameter or the total area required for the flow of liquids inside the vessel.And the decrease due to the constriction of the vessels area required for the flow of liquids.

But, we are provided we the given data in order to find the resultant value for the pressure,P inside the vessel.

Given data:

V=90 m/sec(the velocity,v at the inlet),

At=0.005,

V=90 m/sec,

∫∞=1.23 kg/m³,

V₁=√(P₁-P₂)/∫infinity[(area,A₁/final year,A)⁻¹],

Pressure,ΔP=1913.31 N/m².
