Answer:

(- 7, - 2 ) , (9.5, 0.75 )

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the equations

x - 6y = 5 ( add 6y to both sides )

x = 5 + 6y → (1)

xy - 2y² = 6 → (2)

Substitute x = 5 + 6y into (2)

(5 + 6y)y - 2y² = 6 ← distribute and rearrange left side

5y + 6y² - 2y² = 6

4y² + 5y = 6 ( subtract 6 from both sides )

4y² + 5y - 6 = 0 ← in standard form

(y + 2)(4y - 3) = 0 ← in factored form

Equate each factor to zero and solve for y

y + 2 = 0 ⇒ y = - 2

4y - 3 = 0 ⇒ 4y = 3 ⇒ y = \frac{3}{4} = 0.75

Substitute these values into (1) for corresponding values of x

y = - 2 : x = 5 + 6(- 2) = 5 - 12 = - 7 ⇒ (- 7, - 2 )

y = 0.75 : x = 5 + 6(0.75) = 5 + 4.5 = 9.5 ⇒ (9.5, 0.75 )

Is there a way to understand inequalities better? I don't get them at all!
AlekseyPX
Ok for inequalities it's this < and > that so here's a example prob 3>2 so as my teacher used it put it "it's like the little number eats the bigger number." For negatives the one that's being eaten would be the one that's the closest to 0 so -3>-5 also alone way of doing this is to make a number line that's another way I was taught how to do these. I hope this helps you!

Congruence postulates
ZanzabumX [31]

Step-by-step explanation:

Ok, imagine I have a finger pointed up, and you have your's as well. They are not congruent / parallell to each other because they are not in the same plane.

Plane: A plane is kind of the space around you, so take a paper and draw a line, the space around the line is called a plane. To make two lines parallell, they have to be straight and be in the same plane

Congruence/congruent= Equal(led) to

Postulates means that you know it without proof, for example, a right angle is 90 degrees.

There are different congruence postulates. It can be used for triangles or for other shapes.

I hope this answers your question, I am not to sure on what you said !
