So, using what I’m being given:

The slope of your answer will be whatever number is supposed to be in front of the x (assuming you hit the close brace on accident the same time you hit the minus sign, I’m gonna assume you meant to put -x+1) making the slope of your answer -1.

So you have y=-x+b

To find b, plug in (6,2)

2 = -(6) + b
8 = b

So, your answer would be

y = -x + 8

Otherwise, whatever is suppose be in front of the x,

y = -mx + (2+6m)

Sue set up a lemonade stand and sold 10 glasses of lemonade in the first hour. Her sales increased at the rate of 20% per hour f
KengaRu [80]

The appropriate exponential function for the first question is

... A: f(n) = 10 × 1.2^n

To find the revenue from sales of that many glasses, we multiply by the sale price to get

... B: 0.5(10 × 1.2^n)

-11v-8+3v=24<br><br>What is v?
ella [17]
-11v + 3v = -8v

-8 = 24,   24 + 8 = 32

-8v/ -8 = 32/-8

v = -4

Use the picture and explain how the equation of a circle and the Pythagorean Theorem (a2 + b2 = c2) are related. Please be speci
inessss [21]
<span>The equation of a circle with center C=(h,k) and radius r is:
(x-h)^2+(y-k)^2=r^2
In this case the center is the point C=(a,b)=(h,k)→h=a, k=b, then:
(x-a)^2+(y-b)^2=r^2

We can apply the Pythagorean Theorem to find the distance between any point of the circle P=(x,y) and the Center C=(a,b). This distance must be equal to the radius of the circle:
A^2+B^2=C^2, where A and B are the legs of the triangle and C is the hypothenuse.
In this case, according with the figure: The legs of the triangle are:
A=x-a
B=y-b
And the hypothnuse C=r
Then replacing in the Pythagorean Theorem:
(x-a)^2+(y-b)^2=r^2
Equal to the equation of the circle  </span>(x-a)^2+(y-b)^2=r^2

____ [38]

Answer:

A:linear function for both :

beach: y=-2x+100 (x=0, y=100)

dunes=5x+20 ( when x=0, y=20 (year1995)

B: after almost 11 years: it will be year 2006  and 2007 (after 11.429 years)

C: when the two rates of erosion are equal at the rate of 77 and almost 11 years

-2x+100=5x+20

-2x-5x=-100+20

-7x=-80

-80/-7=x

x=11.429

y=77.143
