Lysosomes and peroxisomes both contain enzymes and are membrance bound organelles. The difference between the two are their functions, because lysosomes digest material like bacteria and also digest its dead organelles and AIDS in apoptosis, while peroxisomes aid in liquid metabolism and chemical detoxification.
