A mover pushes a 45 kg crate across a level floor with a force of 300 N, but the crate accelerates at a rate of only 4.44 m/s2 b

ecause a friction force opposes the crate's motion. What is the magnitude of this force of friction? 300 N Force of Friction O A. 50 N N OB. 25 N C. 15 N 0 D. 100 N

By Newton's second law, the net force on the crate is

∑ <em>F</em> = 300 N - <em>f</em> = (45 kg) (4.44 m/s²)

where <em>f</em> is the magnitude of friction. Solve for <em>f</em> :

300 N - <em>f</em> = (45 kg) (4.44 m/s²)

<em>f</em> = 300 N - (45 kg) (4.44 m/s²)

<em>f</em> = 100.2 N ≈ 100 N (D)

If gas costs $3.65 per gallon at a local service station, how many cubic feet of gas can a customer buy with $40 ?
svet-max [94.6K]
Hi, thank you for posting your question here at Brainly.

For consistency you must convert gallons to cubic foot. The conversions are:

7.481 gal = 1 ft3

Then, $3.65 per gallon becomes $27.3 per ft3. If you buy $40 worth of gas, you get $40/$27.3 = 1.46 ft3 of gas.

If you can travel for 4 miles per ft3, then with the amount of gas you have, you can travel up to 5.85 miles.

(4 miles/ft3)*(1.46 ft3) = 5.85 miles

An object with a resistance of 28 Ω has 76 V applied to it. How much electric current is going through this object? Answer in un
12345 [234]

Answer : The electric current of a circuit is, 2.8 A.

Explanation :

Using Ohm's law :

V=I\times R

Or,

I=\frac{V}{R}

where,

R = resistance of a circuit = 28 Ω

V = voltage of circuit = 76 volts = 76 V

I = current flowing in a circuit = ?

Now put all the given values in the above formula, we get :

I=\frac{V}{R}

I=\frac{76V}{28\Omega }

I=2.8A

Therefore, the electric current of a circuit is, 2.8 A

The gravitational self potential energy of a solid ball of mass density ρ and radius R is E. What is the gravitational self pote
Alenkasestr [34]
It will be
E = mgh.
where h and g are constant thus
m can be written as 4/3πr^3*density
E = 4/3πr^3* density
E? = 4/3π(2R)^3* density
= 4/3π8r^3
thus the e will be 4/3π8r^3* density/4/3πr^3*density nd thus you get 8E ..
