68.64 divided by 2.4 SHOW WORK PLEASE
34kurt

Answer:28.6

I started by seeing how many 2.4 can go into 68.64. I found that it is pretty easy to find that if you multiply the 2.4 by ten you get 24 so we do that twice and have 48. We then subtract 48 from the 68.64 which leaves us with 20.64. If we multiply 2.4 by 5 we get 12 so once again subtract 12 from that 20.64 and now we are left with 8.64. So now we need to figure out how many more 2.4 are left well it is more than three because three gives us 7.2 so let’s subtract that from it now we are left with 1.44. Now we need to find out what times 2.4 gives us 1.44. Well it would be .6. So now if we add up everything we get the answer of 28.6. Sorry if this very complicated

maksim [4K]

Answer:

Explanation:

You know that when x = 0, y = -7 (because y = 4(0)-7 = -7, or you just know the fact that the constant number shows the y-value of the y-intercept). Therefore, you can plot that point on the graph:

  1

  641

x__63_

  1923

3) add a zero under the 3 to hold the ones place and multiply 6 by 1 then 4 then 6 and since we’re working with the tenths place now and dont forget to carry numbers if you need to

     2

     641

  x__63_

     1923

  38460

4) add your two numbers together

How do you answer this question with workings
Murrr4er [49]

Answer:

$32.80

Step-by-step explanation:

Let f be the cost of a file, then a storybook costs 3f ( 3 times as much )

Then the difference in cost is

3f - f = 16.40, that is

2f = 16.40 ( divide both sides by 2 )

f = 8.20

The cost of a file is $8.20 and the cost of a storybook is 3 × $8.20 = $24.60

The total cost of the 2 items = $8.20 + $24.60 = $32.80
