Step-by-step explanation:

Part A: Write an expression to represent the elevation, in feet, of city D. (5 points) City C = 24 feet. City D = 1/4 of City C. So your equation is, 24 Divided by 4 equals 6.

Part B: Simplify the expression and explain why the answer is negative or positive. (5 points) If the elevation of city d is 1/4 of city c which is 24 feet above sea level, then the elevation of city d would be 6 feet above sea level because 1/4 of 24 is 6.

Hope this helps!!!

Help me plis un algebra
stellarik [79]

Answer:

5

Step-by-step explanation:

Add the given numbers to the last recorded temp and see what is closest to 100 degrees.

95.5 + 6.5 = 101.5

95.5 + 6.6 = 102.1

95.5 + 5.5 = 101

95.5 + 5 = 100.5

So the closest to 100 degrees would be 5.

Need help can anyone help me???
Paladinen [302]

Answer:

 it is greater than 45°

Step-by-step explanation:

From the relationship of angles and secants/tangents, we have ...

 m∠GSO = (long arc GO -arc GT)/2

Solving for (long arc GO), we have ...

 2(m∠GSO) +arc GT = (long arc GO)

We know that (long arc GO) > 180°, so we can write ...

 2(m∠GSO) +90° > 180° . . . . arc GT = 90°

 2(m∠GSO) > 90° . . . . . . subtract 90°

 m∠GSO > 45° . . . . . . . . divide by 2

_____

Alternate solution

Inscribed ∠GOT has half the measure of arc GT, so is 45°.

You know that if angle G were 90°, then the right triangle would be isosceles, and angle S would also be 45°. In this triangle, arc GTO is less than 180°, so angle G is less than 90°.

When angle G gets smaller, the sum of angles remains the same, so angle S must be larger than 45°.

This reasoning is written more formally in the math above.

How do i get the solution to graph 2x+3y=12
Pavel [41]
2x + 3y = 12

I am going to put this in y = mx + b form, where m is ur slope and b is ur y intercept.
2x + 3y = 12
3y = -2x + 12
y = -2/3x + 4......slope is -2/3 and y int is (0,4)

x int can be found by subbing in 0 for y and solving for x
2x + 3y = 12
2x + 3(0) = 12
2x = 12
x = 6.....so x int is (6,0)

start at y int (0,4).....and since the slope is -2/3, come down 2 spaces, and to the right 3 spaces, then down 2 spaces, to the right 3 spaces....keep doing that and u should cross the x axis at (6,0)
