The Marginal Utility per Dollar for the fourth unit consumed is 2.50 utils.

The Marginal Utility per Dollar for the second unit consumed is 9 utils.

Utility is the total satisfaction a consumer derives from consuming a good or service.

Marginal utility is the change in total utility when a consumer increases the unit consumer by one.

Marginal utility = change in total utility / change in price

Marginal Utility per Dollar for the fourth unit consumed

Marginal utility when the fourth unit is consumed = (64 - 54) / (4 - 3)

10 / 1 = 10.

Marginal utility per dollar = 10 / $4 = 2.50 utils

Marginal Utility per Dollar for the second unit consumed

Marginal utility of the second unit = (40 - 22) / (2 - 1) =

18 / 1 = 18

Marginal utility per dollar = 18 / $2 = 9 utils

blondinia [14]

Answer: D. $7,500

Explanation:

Before the $150,000 mortgage at 5%, the existing $40,000 balance of the loan was paid off. Therefore, only the mortgage was payable. At 5% x %150,000 = $7500 interest.

Therefore, the amount $7500 interest expense Kris will deduct as home related interest expense would be $7,500.

During winter, red foxes hunt small rodents by jumping into thick snow cover. researchers report that a hunting trip lasts on av
Hatshy [7]

In this report, there are three variables being mentioned. These are:

1st variable = 19 minutes

2nd variable = 7 jumps

3rd variable = 79%

In this problem, I believe what we are asked to do is to identify the type of variable the 2nd variable is. We are given that the 2nd variable is “7 jumps”. This means that the 2nd variable is quantitative because it refers to or relating to a measurement of something rather than the quality. We also know that jumps can only take whole numbers, not decimal. Therefore it is also discrete. Hence, the 2nd variable is:

quantitative and discrete
