Answer:

Question 1 is teacher and Question 2 is interviewed

Explanation:

Question 1 is teacher because the ch sound in the other words sounds like a k while in teacher, it sounds like the ch in the word cheese.

Question 2 is interviewed because every other word has the p sound that starts the syllable while there is no p or p sound in interviewed

What should I do to improve this short story, or what should I add to it?
aniked [119]

Answer:

instead of saying Sparrow and Liam exchanged stairs across the library you could instead try saying Liam and Sparrows eyes met from across the room or across the library, or not. I think your story's fine, if you want to make it a few more sentence longer then maybe you can put like a little backstory to why Liam and Sparrow are fighting or not it's your story I'm just you know saying maybe if you want a few more sentences it's something to put.

Figurative Language used in the sentence: Daniel always says that the dog ate his homework when he doesn't turn it into Mr. Stit
Marat540 [252]

Answer: Idiom

Explanation:

The options include:

a. Personification

b. Metaphor

c. Similie

d. Idiom

The figurative language used in this expression is referred to as an idiom. An idiom simply refers to the words or the phrases whose meaning can't be easily known based on the way the words are written. They're words that aren't taken literally.

They're just meant to create an image or have an effect on the reader. For example, saying someone has a cold feet simply means that the person is anxious or nervous and not that the feet of the person is cold.

Here, the dog eating an homework simply means that Daniel didn't do the homework and he's looking for excuses.
