Hello there! :)

First, we have to get rid of the fraction by multiplying both sides by 3:

2x+8≥12

Now, we move all the numbers (constants) to the right:

2x≥12-8

2x≥4

Divide both sides by 2:

x≥2

<h2>Therefore, x≥2</h2>

Hope it helps you!

If f(x) = 2x^4, then f'(3) =
valkas [14]

To find f'(3) (f prime of 3), you must find f' first.  f' is the derivative of the function f(x).

Finding the derivative of f(x) = 2x⁴ requires the use of the power rule.

The power rule for derivatives is \frac{d}{dx} [x^{n} ] =nx^{n-1}.  In other words, you bring the exponent forward and multiply it by the coefficient of the term, and then you subtract 1 from the original exponent.

f'(x) = \frac{d}{dx}(2x⁴)

f'(x) = 2(4)x³

f'(x) = 8x³

Now, to find f'(3), plug 3 into your derivative.

f'(3) = 8(3)³

f'(3) = 216

<h3>Answer:</h3>

f'(3) = 216

The data shown has a least-squares regression line of y=3.2x−6.4.
Damm [24]

Answer:

1) B. on, 2) D. 19.2, 3) C. 0

Step-by-step explanation:

1) The value of y according to the regression line is:

y = 3.2\cdot (8) - 6.4

y = 19.2

Hence, the point (8,19.2) is <em>on </em>the least-squares regression line.

2) The value of y according to the regression line is 19.2.

3) The residual is the difference between the value from the regression line and the real value. In this case, the residual value is 0.
