A perfect cube is a number that resulted from multiplying a number three times by itself. A perfect cube is also a number that has an exact cube root.

8x^12 ⇒ 2x^4 * 2x^4 * 2x^4
27x^9 ⇒ 3x³ * 3x³ * 3x³

Only two monomials are perfect cubes.

When a number is multiplied by itself three times, then the resultant number is called a perfect cube. It is also a number with an exact cube root.

Out of the given options, 8x^{12} and 27x^{9} are perfect cubes.

8x^{12} = 2x^{4}\times 2x^{4}\times 2x^{4} (2's are multiplied and powers are added)

27x^{9} = 3x^{3}\times 3x^{3}\times 3x^{3} (3's are multiplied and powers are added)

Given p=3q which of these will be p if q is increased by 2?
MAXImum [283]

If we increase q by 2, it means that q becomes q+2.

So, p will become

p=3q \mapsto \bar{p}=3(q+2)=3q+6=p+6

So, the new value for p is 6 more than the previous one.

The second exercise looks a bit odd: if the sequence started with -100, then it would be

-100, -97, -94, -91, -88,...

And every term would be 3 more than the previous one, so the next term would be -85, but this doesn't appear in your option.

Also, the fact that the sequence starts with positive 100 is quite strange, because it is unrelated to the rest of the sequence.

Are you sure that the exercise is written correct? Or are there any typos?

Help me and I will crown you please!!!
Lina20 [59]
All you do is divide 96 divided by 6. That is your equation. Then when you divide it, you find that he will put 16 on each shelf. All of the shelves will have the same number of books. The next one all you do is add all of them up and it will equal 43. So he has 43 dvd in total. Now if he wants to only keep eight of the dvds you subtract eight from 43. That equals 35. Now all you do is divide that by 5 to see how many he will give each friend. Once you're finished with that you find that he will give 7 to each friend.
So, the answers to each problem are 16 with the equation using distributive property 2(44 + 2) divided by 6 and 7.
I hope this helps:) Please give brainliest:)
