How does mass and weight affect gravity?

Physics

Answer:

Explanation:

To start off you need to know that the mass of an object never changes. But gravity does. Think about it life this. Gravity is less on the moon but more on earth, therefore, gravity can change, but mass can't. Now its almost the same as weight because weight changed based upon the gravity. On the moon you weigh only about 10 pounds, on earth, you way much more, and so on.

To calculate the formula you have to do Mass×Gravity which can calculate into Weight.

~Evie weight = mass * gravity

We know that mass never changes, but the weight changes depending on the gravitational pull.

Answer:

Explanation:

Mass and weight affect gravity because weight is a measure of the force of gravity acting on an object, while mass is a measure of how much matter it contains. The gravitational force is equal to the mass of the objects and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them.

Choose the correct statement regarding the behavior of water. a. The water phase with the highest heat capacity is gas vapor. b.
e-lub [12.9K]

Answer:

D. The ice-to-liquid phase change of water requires less energy than the liquid-to-vapor phase.

Explanation:

In the phase change from liquid to gas, the bonds between atoms are completely broken. The phase change from liquid to gas requires more energy because the bonds must be completely broken for it to take place, rather than just loosened as in the phase change of solid to liquid.

Phase changes can have a strong stabilizing effect on temperatures that are not near the melting and boiling points, since evaporation and condensation occur even at temperatures below the boiling point.

More energy is required to evaporate water below the boiling point than at the boiling point, because the kinetic energy of water molecules at temperatures below 100°C is less than that at 100°C, so less energy is available from random thermal motions.

A car travels 40 miles in 2 hours. If the car travels another 60 moles how long will it take to travel
Kisachek [45]

Answer:

3 hours

Explanation:

If the car takes 2 hours to go 40 miles, then the car can go 20 miles in 1 hour. Since the car is going 60 miles, it will take 3 hours.

Hope that makes sense :)
