Step-by-step explanation:

the following things are clear : opposite sides are of equal length, the sum of all angles in a square, rectangle or general parallelogram is 360 degrees, and opposite angles are equal.

so,

y² + 7 = 32

y² = 25

y = 5

2y² = k

2×5² = k

50 = k

the opposite angle of 150 is also 150 degrees.

the opposite angle of x is also x.

so, we have as sum of angles

360 = 150 + 150 + x + x = 300 + 2x

60 = 2x

x = 30 degrees

Need help with this there’s a picture so you can see!

Answer:

x = 9

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

\angle S = 45

\angle U = 4x - 1 --- (not clear but that is what I'm able to read)

\angle Q = 100

Required

Find x

From the attachment, the corresponding angles of both triangles are equal:

This implies that:

\angle P = \angle S = 45

\angle U = \angle R = 4x - 1

\angle Q = \angle T = 100

Apply angle sums property

\angle S +\angle T +\angle U =180

This becomes

45 + 4x - 1 +100 = 180

Collect like terms

4x= 180-45-100+1

4x= 36

x = 9

For fx) = 3x+1 and g(x) = х2 - 6, find (f- g)(x).
sasho [114]

(f-g)(x) is x² - 3x - 7

Step-by-step explanation:

  • Step 1: Given details are f(x) = 3x + 1, g(x) = x² - 6
  • Step 2: Calculate (f-g)(x) by using the formula (f-g)(x) = f(x) - g(x)

⇒ (f-g)(x) = (3x + 1) - (x² - 6)

⇒ (f-g)(x) = -x² + 3x + 1 + 6

⇒ (f-g)(x) = x² - 3x - 7
